ABOUT LAURIE
Laurie Cone is a Manhattan-based writer with her MA in visual culture from New York University. She was one of four selected to present her thesis at the university’s annual Visual Culture Symposium. She has worked in development at The Jewish Museum (on Fifth Avenue and 92nd Street), co-produced and edited an art journal, and written for fashion industry trade publications. As the co-founder and executive editor of Pine, she covered arts and culture in New York and abroad. MoMA PS1 picked Pine as a "New and Notable Title" and included Laurie on their “Women in Magazine Publishing” list.
